Act4Africa is a UK based health education charity which was set up to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Sub-Saharan Africa through the delivery of HIV Prevention and Behavioural Change Education Programmes. Based primarily in East and southern Africa. The charity uses interactive teaching to challenge cultural norms, gender issues and encourage behavioural change, reduce the stigma of HIV/AIDS and engage effectively with influential, vulnerable and at-risk groups of young Africans in schools, colleges, communities, army and police camps and prisons. We also operate mobile testing and counselling clinics which take our prevention programmes deep into the rural areas.
