About the Dallas Hearing Foundation (DHF)

The Dallas Hearing Foundation (DHF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to hearing healthcare for children and adults who are deaf or hard of hearing and lack the financial means to obtain hearing technology. Since its founding, DHF has served individuals and families across North Texas, throughout Texas, and internationally.

DHF provides direct financial assistance for hearing aids, cochlear implants, auditory equipment, and related services by working closely with audiologists, ENT clinics, hospitals, and manufacturers. We manage the full lifecycle of recipient support — from application intake, eligibility review, and provider coordination to invoice processing and follow-up care — ensuring that individuals receive the technology they need to hear and thrive.

Beyond financial assistance, DHF is committed to building a supportive community for people navigating hearing loss. Our programs include parent navigation and advocacy initiatives, youth leadership development, adult cochlear implant support groups, teen and young adult mentoring, and education for families and professionals on early hearing detection, intervention, and long-term outcomes.

Through strategic partnerships, donor engagement, and community outreach, DHF works to remove barriers to hearing care, promote early intervention, and empower individuals of all ages to reach their full potential.
