Since 1972, ISF has been the leading world umbrella federation to actively promote youth sports and education. ISF especially fosters cultural and social exchanges and contacts between the participants. It pursues its goals independently from political, religious or racial considerations.

Organisation

ISF operates within the secondary school-sector and is part of a global

network of international organisations and local federations.

ISF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee and UNESCO

and is a member of SportAccord (International Federations ’ Union)
