Maryland Public Television's mission is to "educate, entertain and enlighten the people of Maryland -- and beyond-- through creative programs and services of the highest quality." Among many other programs and educational and community services, MPT provides Education Technology professional development to K-16 Teachers in the context of all curriculum areas (math, science, social studies, language arts) and the environmental health sciences, through partnerships with entities such as The Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health and Center for Technology in Education.
