EU’s mission is to unite Prince George’s County’s increasingly diverse inner-Beltway communities with the College Park campus, significantly deepening and extending the purposes of the land-grant university. Through its core programs, the Engaged University works to cultivate and distribute healthy and affordable food, nurture creative and resourceful youth and families, and support more peaceful and just local communities.
