Uhuru Youth Center

Uhuru Youth Center is an NGO dedicated to providing access to educational opportunities and marketable skills training to underprivileged youth.

We run three distinct programs. The first and newest program is our day tuition program. This is an alternative school program for primary aged students, which offers quality and affordable education to locals.

The second program is our evening/weekends program for secondary students. First, we seek out sponsors to pay for secondary school for students otherwise unable to attend. We also provide supplemental academic and skills-based training during the evenings/weekends.

Our last program is our organic farming program. At our farm, we teach permaculture techniques and organic farming. We also use the crops to sustain our Center.
