Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State (CP of NYS) Metro Services is a broad based multi-service organization providing services and programs for people with developmental disabilities. In the NYC metropolitan area, the agency operates an extensive community based living program, day habilitation programs, and community habilitation services.

CP of NYS Metro Services focuses on giving people the personal, social, and vocational supports needed to live in their communities. Care coordination is provided to assist persons with disabilities and their families in gaining access to service and support appropriate to their needs. Metro Services also provides rehabilitation, nursing, behavioral, dietary and Article 16 services including counseling, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

CP of NYS was founded to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities, and since 1946, it has continually accomplished that goal. Dedicated staff provide a wide range of direct services and supports that address the individual needs of people with disabilities, including those with the most severe disabilities. All of these programs are provided within a warm, caring environment, using person-centered planning to identify and address the specific needs of each person.
