FestAfrica is a community-based 501 c 3 non-profit organization in Maryland that annually plans and host an African festival in Maryland with the goal of brining people together in the community to celebrate and expreience African culture and heritage through music and dance performances, games, and crafts activities for children, vendors selling food, arts and artifacts. The African festival also features a health fair and a career and education fair. Proceeds from the festival go towards supporting non-profit organizations doing charitable work in African countries
