Samaritans of FR/NB suicide prevention hotline is open to all callers, 15 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our hotline is available free to anyone who needs support. Our volunteers are caring, compassionate and trained listeners. Kare calls are made to seniors who might otherwise be lonely and isolated. In addition, Samaritans hosts Safe Place, a self-help support group for families and friends of those who have completed suicide, and we provide outreach education about suicide prevention to school groups and organizations.
