OUT HIKING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Our Mission OUT Hiking for Our Community, Inc. (Trailmixer) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of hikers and climbers who actively build resources & funding to support people who have been marginalized in our LGBTQ+ community. We are united to bring about change, test our personal limits and build an engaged, empowered community striving for the betterment of all people. Our Vision Help create a world where all members of LGBTQ+ community have every opportunity to thrive.

We Are Mountaineers

In 2013, five of us came together with one thing in common: our love for hiking. Now, we climb mountains to help others and share the love.

For months we train, we raise money, we forge partnerships and in the process build long-lasting friendships. By pushing beyond perceived limits, we promote camaraderie and instill confidence.

Fundraising

Since 2013, our climbers have raised over $100,000 for multiple charities. We keep our costs to a minimum; all hikers are responsible for their own expenses.

Community

We are building a community that spans from our climbers and donors to our beneficiaries and partners, united to make a difference for the LGBTQ+ community.
