The Washington Park UMC Preschool offers a developmentally appropriate play-based learning program. We believe that children are naturally inquisitive and learn best in an environment that nurtures their creativity and curiosity while providing a safe, secure and stimulating place to learn and grow. Our focus is on the whole child – body, soul, and spirit.
Through the development of social, emotional, cognitive and motor domains, each child is encouraged to be his or her own unique individual. The Preschool program shares the mission of WPUMC, which is:
Washington Park United Methodist Church is an inclusive community of faith, accepting people as they are, growing toward fullness of life with God’s creation, through living the teachings of Jesus Christ: Love, Justice, Mission and Hope.
