Ingrid's Food Pantry was founded in October 2012 by Daniela Wells in an effort to help eliminate the growing hunger problem in Buncombe County and surrounding areas.
In honor of her mother, Ingrid Wells, Daniela formed the pantry; a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt charity, for the sole purpose of feeding people. Thus began a project built out of a passion for her community and the residents that helped her along the way.
Ingrid's Food Pantry aims to provide a client choice food pantry, Backpack Buddies program, and Summer Lunch Program for Children while additionally feeding families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
