Sobre Nós

Love is the spirit of this church, and service is its gift. This is our great covenant: to dwell together in peace, to seek the truth in love, and to help one another.

Our mission is to be a voice for the liberal religious values and principles of Unitarian Universalism in the community. Formal weekly services are held most of the year in our handsome, historic Sanctuary with its Hook Organ and its restored interior. We enjoy hearing a variety of viewpoints and, on any Sunday morning, our regular minister, the Rev. Paul Sprecher, a guest minister or a layperson may deliver the sermon. Religious Education programs for children and youth are conducted in the adjoining Parish Hall building. (Learn more about the Church School here). In July and August, informal lay-led worship is held in the Upper Parish Hall.

We have a number of active committees that always welcome new members. They include a Caring Committee; Facilities Committee; Social Justice Committee (SJC)and its branches - First Principle Project, Green Sanctuary Committee, Peace Vigil Committee; Membership; Ministry; Music; Religious Education Committee; Stewardship; and Worship Committee. There's really something for everyone!
