Gentiva Hospice Indianapolis

Gentiva’s purpose is to provide comfort, compassion, dignity, and peace to terminally ill patients and their families through a holistic approach to physical, spiritual, and emotional care by professional trained hospice teams and specialized community resource. Gentiva’s volunteers are a part of that team. The volunteer’s role in hospice care includes direct care volunteers and administrative volunteers.  Volunteers can provide support to a patient in their home or nursing facility with the purpose of companionship and / or caregiver relief. Volunteers can help celebrate special occasions, be a friend, hold a hand, give a caring smile for a few hours a month.
