The Unity Center of New York City’s Vision is: “Centered in God, we envision global spiritual enlightenment.” Our mission: “We are a vibrant center of spiritual energy, transforming lives.” We are transforming lives through spiritual education of weekly classes, small groups, workshops, Sunday services, guest speaking, prayer support, counseling, community outreach, and a web-based ministry. We teach methods of meditation and cultivation of attitudes conducive to stress reduction, general well being, personal empowerment and effective handling of life challenges. We promote the common ground of religious traditions and the compatibility of spirituality with scientific knowledge.
