Avanti Fellows

Each year, over 6M high-school graduates in India are denied the quality undergraduate education they deserve.Avanti is a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged high-school students clear college entrance exams through mentoring and affordable, high quality after school programs.

Our mission is to level the playing field for disadvantaged students in India by removing the economic and social barriers to attending top colleges. We provide the tutoring, mentorship and guidance they need to succeed at college entrance exams.

This year, over 300 students in seven cities will be enrolled in our after-school programs. Our learning centers provide our students access to technology-based learning tools and encourage them to learn collaboratively and effectively.

Our students are supported by India’s largest student mentor organization. Over 350 student mentors from India’s top undergraduate colleges help tutor and mentor our fellows – helping them take their first and most important step into India’s future leadership.
