IVAT is a non-profit organization that strives to be a comprehensive resource, training and research center dealing with all aspects of violence, abuse and trauma. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals on a local, national, and international-level by sharing and disseminating vital information, and improving multidiscipline collaboration to promote violence-free living.

The Family Violence & Sexual Assault Institute (FVSAI) DBA Institute on Violence, Abuse & Trauma (IVAT) strives to be a comprehensive training and research center addressing interpersonal violence and the implications of trauma. We strive to bridge the gaps between policy, practice and research, and help improve current systems of care by providing direct professional services, program evaluations, consultations and trainings.
