Cool Kids Learn!

Our mission is to help provide children with the academic skills and the love of learning they need to succeed in school and in life. Cool Kids Learn is a 501(c)3 nonprofit created to improve the academic achievement and life prospects of children by providing innovative learning opportunities during out-of-school-time hours. Operating in the summer and at the end of the school day, Cool Kids Learn engages teachers and certified instructors to work with small groups of students primarily by focusing on the basics of reading and math and facilitating innovative group projects. Students choose/design their own fun, grade level appropriate projects based on topics that both interest them and reinforce the standard curriculum. The program's main goals are to assist participants reach or exceed grade level performance in reading and math and ensure that they come away from the experience with the knowledge that learning can be fun!
