Adolescent Counseling Services

Founded in 1975, Adolescent Counseling Services (ACS) empowers youth in our community to find their way through social-emotional support and by building safe, accepting communities. Led by a group of dedicated and highly-trained staff, ACS serves over 25,000 individuals annually in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties through an on-campus counseling program in area secondary schools; a certified outpatient substance abuse treatment program; a counseling program available to youth and families in the afternoon and evening hours; a program that provides support, education, & advocacy for LGBTQIA+ young people; and community education. ACS focuses on providing high-quality counseling and support services to adolescents, age 5-25, and their family members.
