PLAY AND THRIVE DC

Play and Thrive DC is tackling the play inequity in our nation’s capital. There is a growing prevalence of membership-based and parent-run playgroups in the district, for children 5 and under. Socio-economic standing determines access to quality housing, food, education, and community resources. Marginalized families who reside East of the River do not have access to community-based programming for their youngest and most vulnerable residents.
