American Board of Psychoanalysis

The American Board of Psychoanalysis is an independent nonprofit organization that offers Board Certification in Psychoanalysis. Much the same way accrediting organizations provide board certification for internists or orthopedists, the ABPsa does so for qualified psychoanalysts. It is the only Certifying Board that uses a uniform standard to certify psychoanalysts across disciplines (MD, PsyD, LICSW, etc.)
