Since 1989, Book'em has worked to empower Nashville's underserved children to experience the joy of reading. We provide the tools to help children to learn to love reading, not just learn to read; books of their own and someone to read to them. We place hundreds of volunteers in classrooms in public schools and preschools through the volunteer programs Ready for Reading and Reading is Fundamental.
