You Are Home - Eco-village

You Are Home is a non-profit organization, an open-source network of people and ideas, an itinerant educational centre with no roots, which promotes sustainability, alternative living systems and protection of biodiversity in remote villages or in urban areas of the earth. We offer free courses, practical workshops and online material in order to spread knowledge, empower self-realization, resilience and indepencency.

We run several projects per year within the field of environmental conservation and education. As a non-profit, independent organization we do not rely on government fundings, but in order to mantain the integrity of our vision we rely on the combined spirit of individuals and on the sinergy of people connecting together.

We use the donations received to offer free courses in poor areas of the world, by activating a big network of volunteers. Our volunteers willshare their skills and learn more about herbal medicine, indigenous culture, sustainability and ecology. They will also live the farming experience in selected farms and forests in wonderful spots around the world.

We are currently co-operating with several reliable organizations and individuals in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Though nomadic in our spirit, we are settled in Portugal and we actively host meetings and events at our facilities.
