Activiteca is a center for educational resources and training which provides services to teachers, students, and the public. The activities and resources in Activiteca are divided into 8 areas: Art and Music, Science, Equipment, English, Language (Spanish), Mathematics, Perception, and Social Studies. Located in an low-income area of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Activiteca offers local teachers a wide range of educational activities, materials, and experiments, as well as books, posters, and audio-visual equipment. Activities for the public include Club Activiteca (educational activities for ages 5 and up), board games, a free reading room, monthly educational fairs, and more.
