Community Action Organizers

Our mission is to create positive change by solving problems utilizing grassroots solutions created and run by the community.

We operate by the tagline to Solve Problems and Serve People.

First, we look for problems facing communities including those faced by schools, nonprofits, and small business.

Then, we strive to work with the persons facing those issues and experts in and outside of the community to determine a sustainable solution, program, or initiative.

Currently, we have two operational programs.

First, we have a college service organization founded at the University of Oklahoma called Student Heroes that follows our model and has developed over 30 projects with 150 students in just 2 years. This organization is the process of expanding to other universities as well.

Second, and most recently, we helped to start the Dallas Volunteer Movers, a program designed to provide affordable moving services to victims of domestic violence and others. We designed and started the program in January 2019 and are still in the process of ensuring sustainability through volunteers, staffing, and client partnerships.

Moving forward, we are looking for additional people to work with, programs to start, and problems to solve. And we couldn't be more excited.
