The School of Modern Languages at Georgia Tech offers two 1-year Master of Science degrees for aspiring thought leaders. The M.S. in Global Media and Cultures and the M.S. in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies emphasize humanities-based leadership for the 21st century. We teach essential skills like communication, leadership, and global expertise while providing advanced training in a high-impact language and region (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, or Spanish). Students create a personalized professional portfolio through internships, research, media production, and study abroad.
