Healthy Little Cooks

Healthy Little Cooks is a non-profit that empowers kids with healthy cooking skills and leadership opportunities so they can help their community become a healthier place. Our initiatives provide hands-on culinary nutrition education programs to schools, kids and communities using active learning strategies that encourage families to cook healthy.

We are hosting our 5th Annual National Healthy Kids Cook-Off and Fit Kid Foodie Expo on Saturday, April 28th at the Columbia Mall. Twelve kids will compete in an iron-chef style competition to cook their recipes live in front of a panel of judges and hundreds of spectators. Our host is Kelly Swoope from ABC 2 and co-host Karen Campbell, a local journalist. McCormick is one of our national sponsors, and we always get amazing local support.
