La Asociación de Mujeres del Altiplano (AMA) is a non-profit NGO. It exists for the purpose of encouraging mutual support between indigenous women of different levels of education, economic class, language, race, religion and marital status. Through the resources of micro-enterprise and community education AMA will affect positive change not only in the lives of the participating women, but in their families and communities at large as well.
