Family Engagement Lab is an Oakland-based, non-profit with a mission to help schools ignite the power of families to support students’ social, emotional, and academic success through our text message-based program, FASTalk. Teachers use FASTalk to send curriculum-aligned activities to parents in their home language to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities. FASTalk is reaching thousands of diverse families in more than 14 languages across the country.
