Melmark New England was developed by a small group of human services professionals to serve individuals with complex and challenging needs. Services are designed to meet the educational, rehabilitative and vocational needs of individuals with aquired brain injury, neruological diseases and disorder, autism spectrum disorders, dual diagnosis and severe challenging behaviors. All services are developed within the framework of current best practice in the fields of Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavior Supports. We provide clinical, educational and family support services to meet the needs of children, ages 5-21, in order to meet the ultimate goal for all children to restore functioning to the highest level of independence possible. MNE services are designed to be delivered in a community-based school and nearby homes.
