Sobre Nós
We regard our work important in the fight to keep our residential neighborhoods safe from archery hunting and firearm sharpshooting throughout the Southeastern Michigan suburban/urban areas. We strongly support and promote the following positions:
- Local governments should focus on resolving resident conflicts with deer (or other wildlife, such as geese) and not attempt to violently reduce the deer and wildlife populations by an arbitrary number based on only the biased opinion of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
- Local governments should implement safe, compassionate and effective non-lethal solutions to have residents peacefully coexist with the deer and other wildlife populations which are acceptable to a majority of the residents and do not cause significant divisiveness among residents.
- Local governments should implement a humane, practical and sustainable deer and other wildlife conflict non-lethal management plan focused on reducing deer and other wildlife conflicts based on an unbiased review of the facts and on the principles of sound science.
