AnitaB.org is a global, 501(c)3 nonprofit headquartered in Palo Alto, CA. Their mission has always been to advance women in technology to close the gender gap. However, we have evolved and currently support all under-represented groups in technology. The Chicago chapter and others were launched in 2015. We have monthly events and coding tutorials which vary in topic.
