Audacious Foundation - LOUD Program

The LOUD Program provides after-school instruction, at partner schools, in music performance and/or filmmaking. The program includes delivery of LOUD’s 32-week curriculum by an instructor, trained in the LOUD method.

The music program includes weekly classes focused on learning an instrument(s) of choice, in a band/ensemble setting, as well as the opportunity to learn music production skills and record in a professional mobile recording studio.

The film program includes weekly classes focused on learning the filmmaking process, with the various roles and skills involved in creating a short film.

LOUD programs based in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara take part in a culminating event, LOUDfest, in May. LOUDfest is organized and produced by LOUD and offers the opportunity for LOUD students to perform and screen their films for their peers and family, at a professional Los Angeles-based venue.
