Refugee Assistance Partners NJ (RAP) began in 2015 as a grass-roots interfaith partnership of groups and individuals of faith as well as non-affiliated individuals concerned for the well-being of refugees resettled in central New Jersey. RAP provides many support services to promote self-sufficiency such as job retention skills, life skills, budgeting, transportation training, nutrition education, school help, and weekly ESL classes for all skills levels and all ages. RAP is a 2018 recipient of the Union County Human Relations Commission Unity Award; our work is ongoing.
