Little Missionary's Day Nursery

The oldest continuously-operating nursery school in New York City, this not for profit organization serves working parents in the Lower East Side of the city. Our mission is to nurture children and support families. The school works with a philosophy of Emotional Education in order to allow children to develop insights into their own emotional lives as well as the feelings and motivations of others. In this way we are building healthy communities that operate with the principle of Constructive Communication. We recently added Sara Curry Day School for children grades Kingergarten to Fifth Grade to expand our educational philosophy into a progressive, project-based model.
