Maieutics Foundation is a non-profit organization promoting research, social innovation and social entrepreneurship. We have a focus in the medical field and microcredit, but we support also other high-social impact projects.
Our name derives from Socrates’ maieutic method, a method based on the idea that truth is latent in every human being, but has to be "given birth" by meaningful questions.
Therefore, the Foundation fosters and encourages, especially in the young, the definition of their own original social initiatives. Maieutics believes that every individual has the potential to take the best decisions for himself and for others, if compared with the right experiences and questions.
