Conflict Resolution Services

Conflict Resolution Services is a not-for-profit organization that was started in 1990 in the Traverse City area. We provide mediation services, facilitation ofmeetings, basic and advanced mediator trainings. We provide parties an opportunity to come together to have sometimes difficult but productive conversations because we believe that "peace of mind matters."

We are a small organization with an annual budget of approximately $150,000.00 providing services in six (6) counties -- Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Wexford and Missaukee.

We partner with local courts (including 86th, 85th and 84th District Courts and 13th, 19th and 28th Circuit Courts) to mediate cases already filed with the courts. We also mediate self-referred cases in the following areas: agriculture, behavioral health, special education, eldercare, domestic relations, parenting time, divorce, neighboorhood, and nearly anything else.

Our mediators are all volunteers who have trained in mediation through a state-approved training course.
