    Wayside Out-Reach Development Inc. (WORD) has for more than 30 years contributed to strong sustainable senior services to the various Brooklyn communities it served in New York. It provides services to both movable and homebound seniors. It is currently managing 13 entities throughout Brooklyn. WORD senior programs are funded mainly through contracts with NYC Department of Aging (DFTA) and NYS Office of the Aging (SOFA). WORD also operates Transportation and City Meals on Wheels services to seniors that we served. Since its founding WORD has become recognized as an effective provider of support to neighbors in need and having real impact within the community.
