The focus and mission of B.A.S.R.A. Prosthetics for Life, Inc. is to expand opportunities for high amputee populations, due to wars, landmines, and natural disasters, through the provision of training and equipment which will enable local medical personnel to provide free or low cost prosthetic and medical services to amputees who would otherwise be unserved. The BASRA Project identifies medical facilities which have at least one medical doctor and prosthetist on staff who will serve as the key in-country points of contact.
