Kasambya Community Computer Centre

A computer centre that will serve as a community resource available to all. The centre will be an information hub for this rural community, providing an extensive digital library across different fields and a connection to the global community via the Internet. Additionally, the centre will be helping the people of Kasambya to be more competitive in business and agriculture, supplement the local education system through computer training and digital academic resources, and improve general public health and education through the availability of up-to-date information. By using a multi-sector approach in the designing of the operations of the centre, we are seeking to present a new model for community based computer centres with long-term viability, which in the future can be replicated across the country.
