Alley Cleanup

My friend and I got tired of seeing garbage and nails and screws in the alleys behind our apartments. Once a week or so we meet up and clean up our respective alleys. If others are interested, we'd love to have your help and/or help you keep your alley/neighborhood clean. Thus far we're pretty informal, an hour or so a week, a few bags, a dustpan and a broom. We're not sure where this thing will go, but the basic idea is that we hope keeping the alley (and the rest of the neighborhood) clean will become contagious.
