FABRIC Foundation

The FABRIC Foundation is the registered element of the FABRIC Foundation Group whose vision and mission are:

MISSION:

"TO ENSURE OUR FABRIC KIDS ARE NOT DEFINED BY THEIR START IN LIFE.

"A community where young people in need have access to health and well being support, creating positive futures"

The FABRIC Foundation's Mission

"To deliver with compassion, care and kindness vital services designed to support the health and wellbeing of young people in need aged 16-25"

The FABRIC Foundation is the award winning charity who support young people in need, this includes (but not limited to):

• Looked After Children
• Care Leavers
• Care Experienced Young People
• Homeless Young People
• Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children.

At present this support is achieved through:

• Weekly foodbank and outreach support for young people in the community
• Activities for FABRIC Kids living in FABRIC homes (aged 16-19)
• Events such as pop up shop, Christmas activities
• Coming soon: mental health support

At present the FABRIC Foundation operates in Swansea and Neath, however as the FABRIC group expands across Wales and potentially the UK, the FABRIC Foundation will need to grow at the same rate. The FABRIC group is gearing up for expansion in 2023 and therefore the FABRIC Foundation is putting in place the foundations to grow.
