Established in May 2006, DIRECT ARTS, INC. is a not-for-profit company founded to develop and produce theater projects and films, which explore the intersection of history, culture and mythos between different ethnic and social groups. A second purpose of the company is to develop and promote a viable alternative model for film and theater production that will alleviate the need to constantly solicit grants or produce commercially-minded star-driven vehicles in order to maintain fiscal integrity.
