Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services, Inc.

Our mission of Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services, Inc. is to encourage and support self-sufficiency and self-worth for people in need in our community through education, wellness and outreach services. Our service area includes James, Johns and Wadmalaw Islands and the Neighborhood House in Charleston.

• Direct Services/Outreach Services

We provide a clothing room, food pantry, and bill pay assistance to our clients at both our Johns Island and Downtown locations. At the downtown location we also provide a lunch program Monday-Friday.

• Education

We offer GED classes, computer classes, and art classes both downtown and on Johns Island. At the Johns Island site we also offer English as a Second Language classes.

• Wellness

Downtown we offer a monthly wellness clinic. On Johns Island we offer dental services, pre-natal care, and a host of preventitive care classes for our clients.
