When an infant or preschooler is identified as blind or visually impaired, Blind Babies Foundation provides family centered services to support the child's optimal development and access to the world. Since 1949, Blind Babies Foundation has provided home based services to families of infants and preschoolers (0-6) in 14 northern and central California counties. Vision Impairment Specialists are uniquely qualified to provide parent education, professional trainings and accompaniment of the families on medical visits and all at no cost to the family. Blind Babies Foundation provides services to over 560 families each year.
