Jazz Choreography Enterprises

The mission of Jazz Choreography Enterprises is to promote the creation of original jazz choreography in concert form. To this end, we give jazz choreographers the opportunity to show their work. We are committed to presenting choreography in a variety of jazz styles and offering educational opportunities for dance artists and the general public with the goal of developing artists and audiences for the great American art of jazz dance.

Our activities include:

• Presenting the New York Jazz Choreography Project, a semiannual dance concert featuring original jazz dances by emerging and established choreographers;
• Offering opportunities for the public to learn about jazz dance through post-performance talkbacks with the artists, dance workshops, and a mini-seminar for college students.
