Located in Chinatown, New York City, the Indochina Sino-American Community Center (ISACC) was established in 1990. It was originally founded by a group of refugees from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, who wanted to create a self-help organization that would form a linkage with their past while helping refugees who came after them. Initially, the Center served mainly seniors offering ESL classes, naturalization services, and senior employment training. However, over time the Center has expanded and now offers services such as health care access programs, community health workshops, computer and job development classes, and cultural programs to people from China and Southeast Asia residing in New York City. We provide a broad array of linguistically and culturally competent services. ISACC's mission is to assist immigrants and refugees achieve socio-economic self-sufficiency in their adopted homeland.
