OhioHealth HomeReach Hospice in Athens is committed to providing the highest quality care to members of our community who are facing the end of their lives. Staff and volunteers strive to meet the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.

OhioHealth HomeReach Hospice in Athens serves Athens, Hocking, Meigs, and Vinton Counties in Ohio. Hospice offers nurses, home care aides, social workers, and volunteers to make the final months of the terminally ill as comfortable, as pain-free, and as fulfilling as possible.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team and are treated and trained as unpaid employees. We have a volunteer coordinator who oversees and nurtures our volunteer program.
