Nutmeg Senior Rides, Inc.

We believe that transportation is a link to independence, quality of life and social interaction. We provide door-through-door community-based and community-supported transportation for seniors and the visually impaired 365 days a year year.

Nutmeg Senior Rides, Inc.changes lives one ride at a time. We provide transportation in private cars for seniors over 50 and the visually impaired over 18 in the towns of Bloomfield, East Granby, East Windsor, Enfield, Granby, Somers, South Windsor, Suffield, Windsor and Windsor Locks. Members pay a $40 annual fee for individuals and affordable charges for each ride.

Up to 2 miles $5 each way

3-5 miles $10 each way

6-7 miles $14 each way

8-13 miles $19 each way

Over 14 miles $25 each way

We rely on a combination of volunteer and paid drivers and are available for extended hours when you plan ahead.
