Gray Area

Gray Area is a San Francisco-based community hub focused on creative action for social transformation – applying art towards engaging with some of the most complex challenges facing our world. Through events, education, and research, we bring together the diverse cultures and communities of the Bay Area to experience, discuss, and experiment with ways to engage directly with the critical issues facing our rapidly changing world.

The Finance & Operations Manager oversees Gray Area’s administrative activities including human resources and benefits, financial reporting, contracts/purchasing, and office operations. This role is responsible for managing the infrastructure of the nonprofit organization to create effective systems for projects and people. You are a systems thinker and passionate about numbers, spreadsheets and saving money. While Gray Area complies with local and state health ordinances, this position will work remotely.
